"The Center for Constitutional Law and Political Institutions (CDCIP) was created as part of the Pulic Law Department of the Law School as early as 1991, as a scientific formula, without being a legal entity, used to organize seminars and debates on topical constitutional issues.  

CDCIP promotes debate and scientific research into constitutional and political systems among the faculty studying public law as well as among researchers, PhD students and well-known politicians who want to play a part in studying current constitutional phenomena and processes. Via its theoretical analyses and debates with practical value, the Center supports the advanced studies into the main trends manifested by contemporary public law, comaparative law included.   

The Center’s main activities cover theoretical and applied scientific research, attendance of international academic exchanges, drafting information scientific materials, organization and attendance of colloquia, conferences, debates on current topics about constitutional systems."
